Ananya Panday’s cousin Alanna Panday got married to her longtime boyfriend, Ivor McCray in a star-studded wedding ceremony in Mumbai recently. Pictures and videos from the wedding are still doing rounds on social media.
We have now got our hands on some lovely unseen photos of none other than Shah Rukh Khan from the wedding and they are simply heartwarming!
Alanna’s mother Deanne Panday took to her Instagram handle to share some monochrome pictures of the superstar from her daughter’s big day. While in the first picture, she is seen having a conversation with SRK, in the second one, she is seen giving him a warm hug. Deanne captioned it, ‘So much love’ (red heart emoji) #friendslikefamily.’
As soon as she shared the picture, her friends and followers showered love in the comment section. Neelam Kothari Soni and Nandita Mahtani dropped red heart emoticons on the post. While one of her followers wrote, ‘thank you for sharing these pics’, another user added, ‘That hug by Shah sir was precious and beautiful’.
Earlier in an exclusive chat with ETimes, the couple’s wedding designer Ambika Gupta had shared why this was not your typical Bollywood wedding. She said, “It was clear right from the onset that Alanna and Ivor and their respective families did not want us to treat the wedding as a celebrity event. It was meant to be a once-in-a-lifetime, personal journey of two very special and unique individuals. The wedding was to tell their stories that have now merged into one and my first thought was that I had to create a series of intimate, joyful, and elegant experiences for the couple, their families, and guests.”
