Atal Community Innovation Center was inaugurated on Saturday at Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Jagatpura. Shri Onkar Bagaria, CEO, VGU, greeted all the guests and, in his address, said that it will be the first centre in the whole of India which will be set up by the Government of India, Atal Innovation Mission. (AIM) and NITI Aayog. It is a matter of great pride for VGU.
ACIC aims to support and nurture innovative ideas that can shape big ideas and help transform society for a better tomorrow. This centre started under the joint aegis of NITI Aayog and ‘Atal Innovation Mission’ will benefit the hardworking, passionate and courageous businessmen of Rajasthan. They want to take their business towards heights.
VGU is also hosting some of India’s most prominent venture capitalists, such as Bloom Ventures, LetsVenture, Rajasthan Angel Investor Network, Indian Angel Network, Rajasthan Venture Capitalist Fund Marwari Catalyst etc.
In this summit, the challenges of start-up companies after the Corona era, the government’s policies and plans, and the areas of sales resources were discussed in detail. For this, a total of three panels, including the founder panel, were also constituted by the organizers.
The Chief Guest, Dr Chintan Vaishnav, Director, AIM, NITI Aayog, Government of India, inaugurated the program.
The topic of discussion in the first panel was “Funding Opportunities and Ecosystem for Start-ups”, moderated by Shri Vinay Modi. Panellists – Mr Varun Kogta – Founder, Kogta Finance, Sushil Sharma, Arpita Agarwal, Arijit Bhattacharya and everyone accepted that this centre would prove to be a milestone in the realization and development of the Sustainable Development Goal for Handy Craft, Craft, Art, Life Style, Design, Agriculture. It will be helpful for the businessmen and artists who want to improve their art and want to convert it into good numbers.
In the second panel, the topic of Government Intervention and Support System to Build Innovation/Start-up Ecosystem was discussed. Mr Ramesh Loganathan moderated it. Mainly Dr Chintan Vaishnav, Director, AIM, NITI Aayog, Government of India,

Third Panel on “Post-Pandemic Issues and Challenges in India for the Startup Community”
The topic was discussed in detail. Mr Paresh Gupta moderated it. It mainly consists of Mr Ayush Bansal – Senior Director Strategy, Razorpay (one of India’s most prominent start-ups), Mr Anoop Khandelwal, Mr Amit Jain – CEO & Co-Founder of Girnar Soft & CarDekho (one of the most famous start-ups in Jaipur), Mr Vishwas Shringi, Ms Sushma Vyas as Panelists. Everyone agreed that this centre will fully assist those who want to take their art and skills to the global level and turn their business into good numbers and will be helpful in their progress. Such artists who wish to make a career in iron, wood, clay, art, fashion, designing can start at this community centre.
The university administration made the visitors and guests visit the laboratory, where the students are also made to manufacture items like blue pottery, jewellery, etc. With the help of a CNC machine, workshops on many subjects were also organized.
On this occasion, fifteen talented young entrepreneurs showcased their products live and tried to take their art and skills to the masses. People also encouraged them by buying their products.
ACIC, VGU Foundation will provide assistance ranging from 5 to 10 lakh rupees to its first eight incubates and they will be given mentoring here to achieve their goals. In the coming time, Marwari Catalyst Agri Tech Accelerator launched in VGU, under which funding of 2 crores will be made available to the first ten start-ups.
In this sequence, ACIC VGU Foundation has tied up with Neo Angeles on Youth Accelerator, under which funding of up to Rs 50 lakh will be provided to 5 start-ups. Many prominent personalities of the country were present on this occasion, representatives of FICCI, ASSOCHAM, CII etc. and various famous industrialists participated. All congratulated on the establishment of this centre and assured to give their full cooperation in future.
