“GuruShaala” has been introduced by Mehul Jain, also known as Jogi, an Indore-based business strategist and entrepreneur. GuruShaala is a combination of two Hindi words: “Guru” signifies someone who inspires and guides, and “Shaala” means a special place. We view GuruShaala as an experiential learning platform that connects curiosity and experiences. After investigating several sectors and gathering experience, JOGI discovered that lack of direction in life is the fundamental issue. Devansh Negi stepped in to help with the research to help distinguish between the knowledge that is instructive and the knowledge that is earned with time and experience in order to resolve this issue.
Back in 2019, the intent of the student and teacher’s story was to connect individuals and combine their knowledge. We finally created the road plan for our voyage after many failures and struggles. While the globe dealt with the pandemic, our enthusiasm was put on hold. In 2022, Prabhat Agrawal joined our idea and improved the technical tools and utilities to create a platform that would provide GuruShaala with a base and new life. We created a “Wish Box” where anyone who is curious can post their personal request in order to get answers to the questions that Google or books cannot answer.
Kartik Sharma joined us on our voyage with the unique notion of mentoring, building up a community of mentors, and organizing in-person one-on-one meetings with young folks and those who are curious. Finally, we are pleased to introduce GuruVaani, an in-person mentoring programme that will initially be available to students in high school and college. The Blunt Media’s Prakhar Tiwari joined us for our first GuruVaani session as a mentor to the program’s enquiring minds. Experiential learning will be a key component of the Indian educational framework, according to our vision. enabling every curious person to find the knowledge they seek via online platform and GuruVaani.
