“Everyone is unique in this world, the problem is most people are afraid to believe in their talent.”
Hi, Iam Ajay Menon. A (23-04-1996) Iam a small time author from Palakkad who like art, Every art have a story to tell to the one who is see it and a different story to the one who feel it. Stories inspired me from childhood from drawing to cartoons to movies to comics, I always thought about the creativity and mind of some legendary craftsman. My favorite Author is Dan Brown and the author who inspired me a lot is J.K Rowling.
Let me talk about my book titled “The Dice game between the frog and the monkey.” Before that let me tell you a bit about how I get the inspiration to write this story – The answer are frogs. The disturbing cries of frogs in night made me think – What if there is a frog like person who kills people in my hometown Palakkad at night time. I was desperate to get it out of my system, then like a god’s call I met with Dream publishers who helped me a lot to complete my book.
The premise of the book is a crime drama revolving around my hometown Palakkad which meet with a number of murders by a frog masked fiend. The pattern of the murder string to the book written by Vijith Chandrasekhar, A struggling author who is living a dense life with his mentally ill mother. The murders happen similar to the story of Vijith’s book. With the help from Office Kishore Madhav can Vijith solve the puzzles placed by the blood thirsty toad having a dangerous ideology haunting the nights of Palakkad.
Palakkad is a district filled with mountains, paddy fields and green beauty, writing this book is actually quiet challenging than I thought, I have personally visited most of the places to write this book and I also decided to write in a way how people of Palakkad will react if a serial killer breaks into their atmosphere. The night also plays an important factor revolving around the story – I thought the night to be beautiful and threatening at the same time – The polar bonding of emotion of excitement and chaos blooms ideas for this story. I really appreciate the people who have supported my first book “Aftermath – The purpose and conflict”, I also trust in my audience and I hope they like and support my book.
