Simi Abhijith is the Founder/Director of Simi’s Makeover Studio (OPC) Private Limited. A one of a kind, down-to-earth Beauty Therapist.
An Advanced Skin and Makeup Certified Professional with a specialty in Bridal Makeup. Simi’s exclusive services include training and consultation to beauty aspirants both online and offline, in addition to regular skincare and makeup services for brides, baby showers, bridesmaids, parties, social, and so on.
Her first love, I would say, is Makeup. A Makeup and Fashion freak since her childhood, thanks to her Dad.
Simi’s Passion back in the 1900s
She was fond of traveling and going to visit her relatives and friends. She did makeup there as a hobby.
Attending a wedding in Adyar in 1997, where one of her relations got engaged to an industrialist, she was amazed by the transformation done by a professional makeup artist. Her work was a sizzle.
She could see the joy in Bride’s eyes. A delightful experience. That made her think a lot. She wasn’t near a professional with the makeup she was doing. It had a lot of techniques and science.
Then on, she made it a point to be a part of the makeover team for any occasion. Over the next few years, she gradually learned, practiced, and carried on as a hobby to make up her relatives and friends on their occasions.
Later on, she worked for many reputed companies as an Estimation Engineer, Production Manager, and Technical Specialist. She and her family lived abroad for a few years, where she practiced her hobby. She loved the different traditions that the Beauty Industry gave her.
Simi’s Makeup Journey
Her hobby turned into a full-time profession in the year 2019. She started a studio named after herself to highlight a one-to-one connection with clients to her business.
Taking Passion Forward
She received an Advanced Makeup Certification. Her hubby supported Simi to pursue her hobby as a profession, where she was able to gain in-depth knowledge of makeup.
She participated in the Asia Largest Fashion Event in Chennai. Apart from online certifications, she had completed numerous masterclass sessions in Makeup & Hairstyling.
Simi did multiple professional works with utmost safety precautions, like wedding makeup, hair styling, and fashion makeup, for many locations in and around Tamil Nadu.
She completed her Advanced in Skin Care. She took the extreme step as she realized that makeup and skincare go together to make a flawless appearance. She was happy that she was able to give recommendations on how to improve their skin.
