In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Ahmed has been actively contributing to Kuwait Steel for the past 7 years, where he oversees Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) and Ladle Refining Furnace (LRF) production dashboards, KPI operations, and internal audits. His exceptional problem-solving skills and data-driven approach have enabled him to optimize processes, improve plant efficiency, and drive productivity. His expertise in Level 2 HMI systems and advanced data analytics tools like Excel has allowed him to implement effective solutions that have enhanced operational performance and reduced costs.
Dr. Ahmed’s academic journey is equally impressive. Alongside his PhD, he holds a BSc and MSc in Physics, an M.Eng (P), a diploma in data science operations management from IIM Bangalore, and is currently pursuing an MBA in Operations Management from DY Patil Vidyapeeth Pune.
