Nishad Hussain, chairman of World Star, has made history by becoming the first Indian to own the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II. The Black Badge version, which he purchased after a two-year wait, was delivered in Dubai. The vehicle is known as the “moving mansion” and offers the finest in luxury and performance.
The Cullinan Series II boasts several upgrades, including redesigned LED headlights, a new grille, and 23-inch aluminum wheels. Inside, it features an innovative hybrid dashboard that blends classic and modern design. The Black Badge variant is priced significantly higher due to its enhanced features.
The model introduces an illuminated fascia panel, a modern design feature first seen in the Ghost and Spectre models. This panel showcases an illuminated “Cullinan” wordmark and a unique cityscape graphic inspired by the nighttime skylines of major cities. It also features 7,000 laser-etched dots on darkened security glass, giving a sense of depth. The illuminated fascia motif can be customised by clients.
Integrating the Spirit of Ecstasy into the car’s interior took four years of collaboration between analog and digital craftsmen; it first lit from below, like a spotlight, before settling into a gentle glow. This illumination starts with the driver’s display as the car is entered, followed by the central information display and the illuminated fascia, which directs light towards the timepiece.
Nishad Hussain, chairman of World Star, a leading Dubai-based holding company, has come a long way from his first car, a humble Nissan Sunny. After years in the UAE, he now owns some of the world’s most prestigious car brands. His passion for automobiles is evident in his collection, which includes the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, Land Rover Defender, Bentley, Toyota Land Cruiser VX, and Lexus LX. His company also manages a fleet of over 500 vehicles, including cars, buses, and industrial-grade equipment.
