Manvi Kaushal, a designer and illustrator, turned Health and Wellness Coach, started Mindful Eating in 2018, a brand designed to help people build a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
We at Mindful Eating believe that –
“With hard work and effort, you can achieve anything.
Manvi weighed 90 kgs, but with her focus and dedication, she lost 35 kgs once she made up her mind to change how she looks and feels about herself. But she did not stop at that. Manvi, after her weight-loss journey of 35 kgs, decided to learn more about her human body and Nutrition. Her curiosity led to AFPA – American Fitness Professionals and Associates. After her certification, Manvi started her brand Mindful Eating, and since then, there has been no looking back.
Manvi’s Journey in her own words –
“I struggled my entire childhood with obesity because of PCOD & Emotional eating. But as I grew, a sense of low self-esteem gripped me, which affected my confidence and social life. That’s when I realised that if I didn’t like how I felt about myself, it was time to bring a change, and that’s when I decided to turn my life around.
The first time I went to inquire at a gym, this trainer told me, “If you invest in your health now, you will save a lot of money on the medical bills in your later life!!”
His words just stuck with me, and that’s when I started my weight loss journey, and since then, there has been no looking back.
Manvi Kaushal received appreciation for her work by Fit Tak, a digital platform by Aajtak with an all India video channel coverage on national TV. Adding to her bucket of achievements was an online coverage by Times of India and Sportz Business Magazine. She also won a completion by Body and Strength.com. Mindful eating also conducted workshops and Nutrition sessions in the Corporate Workspace with big brands names such as Samsung, Make My Trip and Hindustan Unilever to reach out to their employees to find a work-life balance and build a lifestyle of health and fitness amidst their hectic work life.
“The purpose of life is to be useful, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”
Currently, Manvi is running her start-up – Mindful Eating and working as an empanelled Nutritionist with Yasmin Karachiwala, Gurgaon. Weight – Loss was just the start of a journey. Building a sustainable healthy lifestyle was the challenging part. Once I realised how much I could benefit from the energy and a positive attitude through this new lifestyle, I wanted to help others in the same way. As Mindful Eating completes it three years this 2021, it is a proud moment for them to have worked with over 1000 clients and counting across the globe. Most of our clientele is women from different age groups suffering from lifestyle disorders such as obesity, PCOS, diabetes, thyroid and hormonal issues.
On the other hand, men suffer more from stress-related issues, which impacts them equally. We call these lifestyle disorders simply because they are diseases that are caused due to the health-damaging choices that we make in our day-to-day life. The good news is that Nutrition plays an 80% role in defining your body composition and can help you reduce and, in some cases, reverse the impact of these lifestyle disorders.
Often people feel eating healthy means dieting, but there is so much more to it. Eating healthy is not just about losing weight. It’s about feeling better both physically and mentally.
In today’s time, there is so much content and information online that it is just so confusing from where to start. Manvi’s own experience of an astounding weight loss gives her an upper hand over understanding what her clients are going through.
Weight loss is not just about following a diet and exercising, but understanding your own body and building a lifestyle that works for you. Because each body is different and what works for one might now work for another person. We at Mindful Eating believe that your journey becomes easy, and you can be sure that you are moving in the right direction with the proper guidance.
But what matters is that you take the first step. So if you are someone who has been wanting to become healthy, now is the time to start. Don’t postpone your goal to the next day, next month or the following year. Bring a change for yourself and your loved ones.
