There is no denying that DJ Harshit Shah is a triple threat with skill, personality, and experience. With his in-depth knowledge about music and connection with the crowd, DJ Harshit Shah never leaves a single person unmoved on the floor.
His excellence in music production has made him multiple goals and stand as a milestone for many others, with each of his tracks streamed, downloaded, and played numerous times. He has produced for Ayushmann Khurana, Sukhbir, Javed Ali, Khusboo Grewal, Meet Bros, Amit Gupta, and the list goes on. He is associated with big music labels as Saregama Music, Zee Music, Sony Music, Eros Now and has done Smashups also for the 9XM channel.
He speaks, “The only impossible journey is the one you never begin. I dreamt of making the crowd sway to my music from my childhood, and luckily I had parents who always supported my dream. Being from an orthodox Gujarati Jain family in Kolkata, it was never easy getting the support to becoming a musician where everyone else is into business. But yeah, I dreamt of the impossible and started working towards my goal. “

He started his journey in the late 90s, where he used to carry a box full of cassettes and a dual cassette player into a college fests and played songs back to back on public demand. Then he slowly started getting into the details of how a piece of music is composed, arranged, and produced and started making demo cuts and remixes, adding new beats to a famous track. Then he started experimenting with his music and got into clubs residencies across Kolkata & Vizag. He even began teaching people how to mix and make music with his school “Transfusion DJs,” which later evolved into “Techkarma Studios.”
He has headlined as a guest DJ in more than 100 clubs across India and abroad and has also been the runners up of the esteemed Times Music War of DJs in 2003. He is also one of India’s most demanded wedding DJs and has performed in over 30 international destinations as well for Indian weddings.
He has also shared the stage with a few of the biggest names in the industry, which include Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Atif Aslam, Salim Suleman, Sachin Jigar, Guru Randhawa, Honey Singh, Armaan & Amaal Malik, etc.
His recent release has been Nachdi for the iconic singer Sukhbir Singh and has a massive release coming up soon, which is a recreation of one of the biggest romantic hits of the 90s.
