The first Tamil production from “KGF Chapter 2” and “KantaraHombale “‘s Films is a woman-centric tale with Keerthy Suresh as its protagonist.
Hombale Films has launched its first Tamil film, which is a woman-centric drama, after experiencing enormous pan-India box office success with their previous movie projects, “KGF Chapter 2” and “Kantara.”
They have unveiled the first look poster for their Tamil film “Raghu Thatha,” a humorous and inspiring tale of a young lady finding herself while on a difficult journey to safeguard the uniqueness of her people and country.
Ready to feel in control? Since a revolution starts at home. A poster and a slogan that reflect the opinions of many people. Suman Kumar, the award-winning author of “Family Man,” who is making his directorial debut, has the animated Keerthy Suresh star in the movie.
The movie began production this month with a summer 2023 theatrical release planned. The outstanding national award-winning actor Keerthy Suresh, who has worked extensively in Malyalam, Tamil, and Telugu films with a number of successes to her credit, will work together for the first time on Hombale’s debut Tamil film.
“Raghu Thatha is a comedy drama about a strong and resolute woman who discovers her distinctive voice by confronting norms, keeping her ideals, battling for them, and finally becoming an inspiration to everyone,” producer Vijay Kiragandur said during the publication of the poster. You can see her personality coming into focus as a result of her difficulties. The comedy-style presentation of the movie guarantees that each family member will laugh out loud and then reflect afterward. Given her ability and flexibility, Keerthy is the ideal candidate to play the lead, and we are excited to have her on board.
With four films scheduled for release next year, the production business now faces a massive year. Fahadh Faasil’s “Dhoomam” will be released the following year, with Prabhas’ “Salaar” set for release in September 2023. Before the end of 2023, “Bagheera,” starring Srimurali, will also be released.
A strong cast and team have been assembled for “Raghu Thatha.” In addition to Rajesh Balakrishnan and Devadarshini, other notable actors include veteran actor M.S. Bhaskar, Ravindra Vijay, Anandsami, and Devadarshini.
The production firm has secured national award-winning costume designer Poornima Ramaswamy, cinematographer Yamini Yagnamurthy, production (art) designer Ramcharantej Labani, music director Sean Roldan of “Jai Bhim” fame, and film editor T.S. Suresh.
