Malhotra, is someone to look up to. She worked for two enormous corporations before deciding to step down and launch her own skincare line, The Unplugged Skincare. She has acne-prone skin, and everyone has always offered advice on how to cure acne and oily skin. She tried every home remedy and listened to every brand’s saleswoman. She put everything on hold at the age of 24 and began reading extensively about skincare. She was able to achieve manageable skin with minimal effort and consistency. That’s when she came up with the idea for a brand that is transparent, teaches people about skincare and provides after-sales support.
