FASHION MEET – Expo’22,at Apparel House, Gurugram ended successfully with a GlobalSpin Startup Fashion Show.
Fashion, as we all know, is a dynamic global industry and IAMKHADI with the help of other co-organizers SOWTEX and NFDI aim to build the most authentic Indian fashion landscape to get more global recognition for Indian talent.
The whole idea of GLOBALSPIN STARTUP FASHION SHOW was conceptualized by Mr. Yash Arya, Founder, IAMKHADI to promote Fashion, Textile, and Technology Startups to showcase Innovations & Sustainable Material development to Fashion Buyers, Fashion Manufacturers, Policymakers, Ambassadors and further connect with Supply chain & look at the possibility of creating digital integration in near future.
SOWTEX the event organiser is a B2B MARKETPLACE for fashion and textiles with 20,000 business users from 10 countries connecting with buyers and sellers for focus Sourcing in Value chain is digitizing Vendors, Materials and Stocks has collaborated with IAMKHADI and NIFT Foundation for Design Innovation (NFDI), an initiative of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Ministry of Textiles, Govt of India which is India’s 1st Incubator in the Fashion and Technology space.
The organisers being from Startup Domain have shown their sincerity and support to fellow young fashion startups to co-organise GLOBALSPIN STARTUP FASHION SHOW with an objective to give Quick & real-time MARKET ACCESS and visibility in front of the Fashion Export Community to curate high-fashion value added product lines for International buyers.
On the occasion of Earth Day, Startup Fashion Show has showcased India’s Sustainable and Innovative product lines along with Supply chain partners.
Our Young & Celebrity Deginers are joining hands to bridge the Gap between Buyers expectations and sustainable materials, which are available through Indian Value Chain.
As the world is going Sustainable & Digital, Fashion Manufactures have to reposition themself to adopt & showcase collection using these innovative platforms with designers and a create International experience.
GLOBALSPIN STARTUP FASHION SHOW this season has represented three Spring Summer 2023 Forecast Trends: Sustainable Fashion, Fast Fashion, Pret Fashion.
The opening of GLOBALSPIN STARTUP FASHION SHOW was with a Panel Discussion on “How to infuse Trends in Sustainable Fashion” and panelist included were celebrity designers and industry veterans like Puneet Dudeja, Dr. Ajit Nigam, Pallavi Singh, Tasneem Merchant, Shruti Sancheti and Yash Arya moderated the panel.
The first sequence of the GLOBALSPIN STARTUP FASHION SHOW was presented by Apparel Training and Design Centre (ATDC).
Apparel Training and Design Centre (ATDC): Today’s youth wants to associate with their roots but in their own style changing the conventional ways.
During the GlobalSpin Startup Fashion Show held at Apparel House, Gurugram, ATDC presented precious Indian textiles in the form of saree as Pret, the ready to wear fashionable dress combining it with Man Made Fabric blazers and other items to present a modern chic, women of significance excelling in its world of work.
The collection targeted to promote the use of MMF into pret which is also being promoted under the Vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi Ji and implemented under leadership of Hon’ble Textile Minister Shri. Piyush Goyal Ji under PLI scheme of Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India. Man Made Fabrics put less pressure on natural resources and bring the sustainable balance in the business. The collection was well appreciated and sensitized the youth about usage of Man Made Fabrics in Pret.
The GlobalSpin Startup Fashion Show featured talks & discussions on topics such as ‘Fabric to Fashion – Digital Fashion Show – Showcasing Fabric to Fashion Transition First Time.’
There were also discussions around ‘Sustainable Production Processes & Implementation,’ ‘Developing Sustainable Product Lines & Fast-track Development.’
IAMKHADI promoted NIFT Foundation for Design Innovation (NFDI) five Start-Ups who exhibited Sustainable & Organic Clothing lines (Bamboology Trends, Tectex Pvt. Ltd., Kalptree, Arras, Hemp Affair, Iamkhadi Export Pvt. Ltd.) and presented four International Celebrity Designers showcased Sustainable collections starting with Grand Opening by Pallavi Singh, Tara Bhuyan, Tasneem Merchant and Grand Finale by Shruti Sancheti.
Chief Guest was Mr. Jyoti Kalash (IAS), Chief Resident Commissioner Nagaland Bhawan, Govt. of Nagaland along with two top celebrity designers were Guest of Honor flying in from London & New York – Varun Bahl & Liz Hartman along with foreign delegates from Canada, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Egypt, South Africa, Mauritius as a Special Guest & few eminent socialites.
Other supporting IAMKHADI team included, Sonia Lamba, Preeti Vashisht, Kanak Bharat Paraashar, Dr. Charu Dutt Arora, Rajalakshmi Joshi, Pratik Dhawan, Chaitanya Soni, Raheli Sarkar, Neha Khera, Ekta Kumar and Kapil Gauhri.
