Indian Management School & Research Centre awards PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) in Management (Corporate Social Responsibility) to Dr Surajit Sarker of Kolkata.
Surajit has 32 years of rich experience in Corporate Affairs, Government Relations, Public Policy Advocacy, Corporate Relations, Strategic Alliances & Collaborations / Partnerships, Corporate Governance, CSR and Investigation. He has worked extensively across the country and abroad.
He is a Registered and Certified Independent Director from KPMG and Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, Govt. of India. Besides that, he is a Certified Fraud Investigator and Crime Analyst.
Surajit has worked in various organisations in senior positions like Vivada Group, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Vodafone India Ltd, Vodafone Idea Ltd, Flipkart Internet Pvt Ltd (Walmart Group). Presently he is the ‘Senior Vice President – Corporate Affairs & Government Relations’ in Rashmi Group (Steel Plants, Cement Plants and Coal Mining). Rashmi Group is presently one of the top business conglomerates in the country.
The journey started on 3rd December 2020 and finally, on 21st November 2024, he has been awarded PhD degree. Surajit Sarker has expressed his heartfelt thanks to his Mentor Dr Paul Thomas of IMSRC, Mumbai, All Professors and Officials, Family, Friends and Relatives, Colleagues and Well Wishers.
