The Netflix streaming of Doctor G, starring Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana, will start on December 11. Anubhuti Kashyap, known for directing the Prime Video series Afsos, made her directorial debut with the university comedy-drama, which debuted on October 14. On Sunday night, the streamer posted an Instagram update with the news.

In Doctor G, co-written by Sumit Saxena, Vishal Wagh, Saurabh Bharat, and Kashyap, a future physician named Uday Gupta enrols in gynaecology after graduating because there are no seats available in orthopaedics, his preferred field.
Anubhuti Kashyap, who is best known for directing the Prime Video series Afsos, made her directorial debut with the campus comedy-drama, which debuted on October 14. Anubhuti is the sister of film filmmaker Anurag Kashyap.

Doctor G, co-written by Sumit Saxena, Vishal Wagh, Saurabh Bharat, and Anubhuti, tells the narrative of aspiring physician Uday Gupta, who enrols in gynaecology for post-graduate study because there aren’t enough seats available in his preferred field of orthopaedics.
The movie, which also features Sheeba Chaddha, Shefali Shah, and Rakul Preet Singh, is produced by Vineet Jain and co-produced by Amrita Pandey.
Ayushmann is now seen in the December 2-released film An Action Hero.
