Anuj Dammani from Dongargarh of Rajnandgaon District Reserved his place in the State team for Jiu-Jitsu National Championship going to be held in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh in coming days from 27th March 2023 to 31st March 2023 .
Ju-Jitsu Association of Chhattisgarh Organized State Level Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Digvijay Stadium , Rajnandgaon on 5th Feb 2023 , Anuj Dammani secured his Place for Nationals by Winning Gold Medal in His category.
Anuj will be now representing Chhattisgarh Team in Nationals and is Aiming for Gold in Nationals.
In the same line followed by the same state championship, Rajnandgaon District Ju-Jitsu Association Organised a District Level Championship on 27 November 2022 in Dongargarh. In the same year Anuj Dammani bagged a Gold in order to be qualified to play State Level.
As information received, Last Year on 20 February 2022 The State Association Organised 1st State Level Jiu-Jitsu Championship in which Anuj did not perform well due to injury and had to settle with a bronze. After a disappointing performance last year in State Championship, Anuj started working hard and worked according to the tough competition in his category and as a result we can see and mentioned above he achieved Gold medal in District and also a Gold medal in State Level Tournament.
Anuj is preparing for his Nationals in Crosstrain Fight Club, Delhi under the Guidance of Head Coach Siddharth Singh and also Under the Mentorship of Coach Rana Ajay Singh, General Secretary of Ju-Jitsu Association of Chhattisgarh.
After the Nationals Anuj Dammani has bigger plans of Representing India in the upcoming international games.
