This is what Ms Pash Kaur did, she believed, worked hard and didn’t give up which brought her up on the rising platform of the World Designing Forum and being honoured by the ” Established Designer Award” at The Grand Indian Handloom Fashion Show was a remarkable achievement and another milestone covered by her.
Recently a Fashion fest, “The Grand Indian Handloom Fashion Show” was organized by the World Designing forum in Agra from June 30th to July 3rd 2023 at Agra Selfie Point 500mts away from the Taj Mahal which showcased an array of exquisitely handcrafted garments, from traditional sarees and lehengas to contemporary fusion wear. Designer Pash Kaur from Punjab represented a fusion of Indian Handloom cotton fabric into Western attire and was honoured by the Established Designer Award for her meticulous and intricate work.
Pashmeen Kaur Aka Pash Kaur is a renowned Fashion Designer and CEO of the Luxury fashion Brand “Get Styled by Pash” from Punjab, belonging to the Royal city, Patiala. She completed her Masters in Fashion Design and Technology from Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala and with her meritorious performance in college she worked as Senior Fashion Designer for elite fashion houses of the city. Almost with more than 8 years of experience in the design industry, she launched her first Fashion Luxury Sustainable Brand “Get Styled by Pash”. Her brand is not only about Luxurious affordable fashion accessories but, is also contributing towards Sustainable Fashion and apparel waste management wherein she uses fabric residues, collected and bought from the local fashion houses and workshops and turns them into Luxurious accessories. The best thing about her fashion accessories is that they serve for multipurpose as the accessories can be coupled with multiple outfits yet give a new look hence promoting sustainable fashion where a person has not to have to buy different outfits for each occasion.
She was honoured by Famous Bollywood designer Ms Rina Dhaka, and Mr Puran Dawar, president, of Agra Footwear Manufacturers and Export Council, in the presence of former MLA Ramsakal Gujjar, leading women’s activist and businesswoman, Dr Ranjana Bansal, Sabyasachi, Nehal Chudasama, actor Shanthi Priya besides others.
The Agra Fashion Fest not only showcased the designer handloom garments but, also organized an exhibition of the designer’s products, wherein Pash Kaur’s exclusive Fashion Luxury Collars were appreciated and bought by the famous legendary Bollywood actress Shantipriya and the media coverage of the same was also done at AajTak news Channel.
Apart from the grand success in Agra, the designer also remarked on her profound wish for supporting women’s empowerment, wherein she provides freelance work opportunities to homemakers so that they can work from the comfort of their home, making a balance between their personal growth and family responsibilities. Pash also expressed her wish to develop her brand design school and talent recognition development platform for budding designers and talent. The designer will be soon coming up with innovative projects and keep shining and rising with equal enthusiasm and zest.
“Success to the road is not an easy way, especially for an independent woman, however with great dedication, a lot of perseverance and of course hard work anything is possible” Pash stated. She said that the journey of success was not alone for her, her mother, brother, family members, teachers, friends and of course, World Designing Forum together worked as my pillars of success. The young entrepreneur is all set to launch her new collection of accessories which will soon come with her offline outlet of brand.
